Digital Painting – Album Cover

Bobby Vickery is a remarkable musician, and I am honored that he reached out to me to do his album cover. I had a ton of fun creating this illustration. It both challenged me and intrigued me to design better. It was really cool listening to Bobby’s music while creating the very music I’m listening to. It is an experience I have never done before, but would love to get the opportunity to do again.

When something is going to be printed there are far more things to consider, if you compare it to just posts on the internet. I had a lot of fun designing and problem solving things like the album spine, the cassette insert and the odd holes from each of the cassette, CD, and vinyl. On top of the printing, I was able to create a loopable animation they could have as their Spotify background.
